Invest in your workforce and they'll invest in you

According to the CIPD, healthy people mean a healthy business. And it stands to reason - if you look after the well-being of your staff and show them that they are genuinely valued and appreciated, then the return will come back threefold. It's a 'win-win' situation.

The 2007 CIPD Absence management survey showed that sickness absence accounts for 8.4% of working time - equivalent to 8 working days for each employee each year.
